what is the SECNET course?
the secure network foundation course is designed to provide a foundational knowledge of computer networking and cybersecurity. students will learn entry-level networking concepts, routing and switching, security principles, network and endpoint security, vulnerability assessment and risk management, and incident handling.

the secure network foundation course consists of 20 hours of lectures. as the lectures are on-demand, the student may advance at their own pace. labs are provided for students to develop hands-on experience with the technology.

students have several avenues to recceive support as they progress through the course. students will have access to the team caveo private Facebook group and Discord server. These are moderated by team caveo support staff who will respond within 24 hours. additionally, weekly office hours are available via Zoom for students to ask questions. Dr. Jeff will provide a bi-weekly spotlight Zoom session to address specific topics submitted by students in advance.
